Because of this proxy architecture, Instagram only sees connection details originating from our nodes. Your personal IP address, device specifications, browser cookies, and geographic location are never exposed or transmitted to Instagram.

3. Browser Local Storage

Story Anony utilizes your web browser's local storage (`localStorage`) to provide interactive features:

• Favorites: Saving profiles to your bookmarks list stores their details (username, full name, avatar URL) on your device.
• Recent Searches: A history of recently searched usernames is kept for fast auto-completion.
• Language Setting: Your preferred language locale (e.g. EN, ES, FR) is saved to persist translation views.

All local storage data remains 100% on your local device. We do not transmit, back up, or sell this data to external servers or third-party databases. You can clear this data at any time by wiping your browser cache or clicking "Clear All" on the UI.

4. Web Analytics and Server Logs

We may collect non-identifiable, aggregated technical information such as browser types, page referrer headers, and access timestamps. This data is used solely to monitor platform health, optimize proxy speeds, and prevent automated scraping attacks.

5. Third-Party Content

Our website fetches public content from Instagram APIs. Once you download media or visit links leading outside of storyanony.com, you are governed by the privacy policy and terms of service of those respective platforms.
